The Road Show is a much-anticipated part of every Canadian Clay Symposium. People who are registered to attend are invited to bring along something Ceramic to be displayed for the day. It can be something they’ve bought, inherited, or made themselves. We never know what we’ll see but the work always leads to interesting discussions. During the lunch hour, between presentations, our own Ceramics curator and this day’s MC, Carol Mayer gave a critique. Enjoy photos of what we admired.

I had brought along the Carole Epp vase. It depicts her heartfelt images inspired by the Invasion of Ukraine more than a year ago. Carole had donated it to a fund-raising raffle in aid of Ukrainian people. I won it, and felt more folks should see her work.

I have photos of the ‘Sur la Table’ PGBC one-day display so that’ll be my next blog. Meanwhile you might like to peruse the just-launched ‘That Pottery Thing’ NWCF ceramics auction. Details below.
Meanwhile enjoy your Easter holiday long weekend.

Love the Carol App vase colours and shape, with Ukrainian inspiration!
