When she attended the Opening of “Clay 2013” at Evergreen Cultural Centre Gloria Barkley was looking for the work of potters (I use that word loosely, lots are sculptors) who are not only members of the Fraser Valley Potters Guild but also belong to our local TriCity Potters group. I will post her photos here and will add any thoughts she may have on the show and the jurying later.

Gloria found and photographed award-winner Eliza Wang but Kay Bonathan is away. She also found Carleen Akester with her work, and me. There’s a photo of FVPG president Pat Schendel with Eliza and Linda Ward, and she caught keen visitor Coquitlam mayor Richard Stewart admiring and possibly buying a mug!
